The most beautiful visits

In 2015, Charente-Maritime was the “French’s favorite destination” (except Paris)!

We are so happy and proud of this award that we would like to share with you — ideally convey our love for this department — places to visit and walks near our lodges.

Île de Ré: 10 typical and welcoming villages with a prestigious heritage due to the adventures of History… Narrow and winding alleys surrounded with hollyhocks, and family beaches hidden behind the pines have to be discovered ideally by bikes for an absolute dive in the life of the islanders (official website of the island).

Châtelaillon-Plage: a seaside city with 3.5km beach, a set up for a pleasant day your feet in water… (official website of the city).
